Howard Family Foundation
The Howard Family Foundation was founded in 2001 by Gary and Leslie Howard. Since then, a total of 248 (and counting!) scholarships have been given for students to attend business school at either Colorado State University or Denver University.
Our Mission
Providing financial-need students of exceptional ability and dedication with access to educational opportunities in the form of academic scholarships to accredited universities.

Annika
In spring of 2022 I studied abroad in Prague, Czech Republic and had the most amazing time. Not only was I able to experience and dive into a new culture, I was also able to make friends from around the US and the world, and learn about international business functions. It will forever be one of the most special experiences I have gone through and I am forever grateful that both CSU and the Howard Foundation were able to help me have this once in a lifetime opportunity.
Trevor
Since graduating, I started working for WTW as a technical support specialist in pension outsourcing. In my free time I go to the gym, read, study day trading, and love to travel.
Dakota
I just graduated Magna Cum Laude with my B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems.
Starting in July I will be joining Innofin Solutions as an associate consultant. Innofin is a small FinTech Consulting company specializing in enterprise performance management. The main software we work with is Oracle EPM. I’m super excited as the position is remote with the opportunity for occasional travel to client sites.
Madison
I am a third-year Marketing major with minors in Management and Finance. This past fall, I studied abroad in Prague, Czech Republic at VSE Prague University of Economics and Business. This unforgettable experience broadened my horizons, enhanced my independence, and ignited a passion for travel and cultural exchange. I am so grateful to have been given this chance to immerse myself in a new culture and further my education in a meaningful way.

I would like to say how grateful I am to the Gary and Leslie Howard Family Foundation for awarding me scholarships during my time at Colorado State University. It has helped me immensely with kickstarting my career and meeting other like-minded individuals. I am extremely thankful for the help, care, and generosity that the Gary and Leslie Howard Family Foundation has given me. I feel the intrinsic motivation to give back to students through financial aid and mentorship efforts in the future. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
