While our core mission centers on providing scholarships for business students, The Howard Foundation also supports organizations close to their hearts—causes that make a difference for children, wildlife, and communities around the world. Learn more below about the programs we support and the impact they’re making.

Denver Public Schools – Technology Gift
The Foundation provided a technology gift to Contemporary Learning Academy, a language-based school in Denver Public Schools. The gift included 43 devices across seven categories—ranging from AI-powered instructional tools to 3D printers for the school’s entrepreneurship program. Each item was selected to address specific needs identified by teachers and staff.
Denver Public Schools – Book Fair
In December 2025, the Foundation hosted a book fair at Force Elementary School for 80 second and third graders. Students rotated through three stations: selecting a book to take home, decorating their own bookmarks, and participating in a bilingual read aloud. Exit ticket surveys captured student feedback, and both teachers and students expressed enthusiasm and gratitude for the experience.
Gorongosa Restoration Project: Preschools for Everyone
The Howard Family Foundation is funding the construction of a preschool in Mozambique’s Gorongosa National Park through the Gorongosa Project. This initiative is part of the Project’s broader mission to pair wildlife conservation with community development, recognizing that the first five years of life are critical to physical and cognitive health. The preschool will serve families living in the Sustainable Development Zone surrounding the park.
USC School of Cinematic Arts
The world-renowned film school at the University of Southern California, training the next generation of filmmakers, storytellers, and media innovators.
Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy – Nakatindi, Zambia
The Foundation is supporting the Nakatindi community near Victoria Falls with education initiatives, a school feeding program, and conservation education for children living on the edge of wilderness.
UActive – Ukraine
A civic education program empowering teenagers in war-affected Ukrainian communities. Students learn leadership, entrepreneurship, and project management skills, then implement projects to rebuild their schools and neighborhoods.
